Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2023!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I write to you on behalf of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Chennai in my capacity as the Coordinator of the Madras Service of Communion (MSC-English speaking community).

We are celebrating the fact that 2000 years ago the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus the Son of God was born and this is what we will be celebrating.

We should reach out to others and not just at Christmas. We can do it as a group, a family or as neighbours. When Jesus came he came for the world, every man, every woman and every child.

Is Jesus asking us “Am I the reason for the season? Am I your hope? Where are your priorities?”

Jesus says, “Let your hope in me rise. I am with you to the end of times.” Let’s not forget Jesus is still with us He has promised in Matthew 28:20b “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

My prayerful wishes for a new year filled with blessings from Romans 15:13 ” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit “.
